Risk Management Specialist

Job Summary:
The Client Service Specialist (Risk Management) provides high-level support to team members and clients in assessing risk-related matters and making recommendations for risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in the design and implementation of risk management strategies and programs for clients.
- Completes diagnostic loss analyses and qualitative reviews to identify trends for maximum safety and risk improvement impacts for our clients.
- Prepares spreadsheets, graphics, charts, diagrams, and other illustrative tools to be used for presentations.
- Develops client-specific risk control key performance indicators and direct measurement of results.
- Collaborates with AP Loss Control and Claims to establish mutual objectives and collaborate in alternative risk control solutions where necessary.
- Provides clients with training when requested or assists clients in finding alternative training resources.
- Becomes proficient in the offerings of the Succeed Risk Management platform to evaluate which clients could benefit from utilization of the system.
- Provides deliverables that are policy-specific to the needs of the clients, including experience modification ratings, loss history analytics, and cyber security scorecards.
- Establishes preferred relationships with third-party vendors for services, including loss control and actuarial analysis.
- Provides project management to internal AP teams to ensure goals and objectives are appropriate and aligned with services delivered to exceed client expectations.
Requirements:
- Attributes: Independent judgement, high performer, deadline-oriented, quality focus, detail-oriented, organized, adaptability, problem-solving, dependability, skilled multi-tasking, superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Three or more years of Commercial Lines Account Management or Claims industry experience preferred.
- An understanding of underwriting and insurance coverages preferred.
- Current Property & Casualty license preferred.
- Strong Excel experience preferred.
- Tech-savvy; ability to learn multiple systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and Agency Management software.
