Clinical Training and Medical Assistant Specialist

Clinical Trainer and Coverage Specialist is a dual-role position at the Dermdox Group, responsible for delivering comprehensive training to new and current clinical staff while ensuring continuity of patient care. This role involves designing and implementing training programs, mentoring clinical team members, and stepping into the MA role during staff shortages.
This is a hybrid position requiring strong communication and organizational abilities, capable of balancing training responsibilities with hands-on patient care in the Lehigh Valley region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement training programs for new hires and current staff.
- Mentor clinical team members and provide guidance on best practices.
- Step into the MA role during instances of staff shortages, including call-offs, PTO, or vacancies.
- Maintain Continuity of Care: Ensure seamless patient care by performing MA duties such as preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, and prior authorizations.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A High School Diploma required.
- Certification from a Medical Assistant Program.
- 3-5 years of relevant medical / surgical practice experience.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service attitude.
- Experience with practice management software (ie EMA) and Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Compensation: Estimated salary range $65,000 - $80,000 annually.
