Family Medicine Residency Program Supervisor

Whitecap Search is representing a community health organization in search of a Family Medicine Residency Program Director to manage their collaboration with a local hospital's Family Medicine Residency initiative.
This is an employed role offering a competitive compensation package that includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, coverage for licensing fees and continuing medical education (CME), along with a generous paid time off (PTO) policy and medical malpractice insurance, including tail coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide family medicine residents in clinical settings, fulfilling educational requirements and serving as a mentor for the program participants (currently six residents in the first year).
- Provide prenatal care and demonstrate a strong interest in women's health procedures.
- Maintain a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with an expected distribution of 80% clinical duties and 20% administrative responsibilities.
- Facilitate monthly 'grand rounds' where healthcare providers can present cases and share knowledge.
- Oversee a center that offers extensive behavioral health and women's health services, in addition to pediatrics and primary care.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid New York State medical license.
- Active or applied for DEA registration preferred.
- Completion of residency and board certification in Family Medicine.
