Salary and BenefitsWe offer a highly competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Job DescriptionAs a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Brevard Health Alliance, you will be responsible for providing superior quality, competitive value, and outstanding service to our patients. You will work under the observation of your supervising physician and collaborate with our Chief Medical Officer to ensure seamless delivery of primary care services. Your exceptional communication skills and knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, and pathophysiology will enable you to develop and implement formal and informal teaching plans for patients, families, staff, and community members.

Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must possess a Master of Science in Nursing from an educational institution approved by the Florida Department of Health or a Master of Science in Medicine, in Physician Assistant studies from an educational institution approved by the Florida Department of Health. You should also hold clear and active Florida Physician Assistant licensure and have 3+ years' experience in related clinical settings. Experience working in various outpatient settings and proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are also essential requirements. Additionally, you must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills and be proficient in basic life support (BLS)/cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Primary AccountabilitiesYour key responsibilities will include managing acute, episodic outpatient care and health maintenance needs through the provision of a Primary Care Medical Home. You will also demonstrate competent skills in therapeutic, cost-effective pharmacologic administration and management. Furthermore, you will promote patient/family-informed decision making in treatment plans and options and perform physicals, diagnostic tests, and screening evaluations. Your ability to manage overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues, emphasize preventative care and disease management, and understand changes in health promotion throughout the aging process will be crucial in delivering high-quality patient care. You will also participate in departmental Continuous Quality Improvement efforts and collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer in developing clinical protocols/procedures for delivery of outpatient care.
