Key Responsibilities:

As a Front of House Team Leader, you will support the management team in delivering friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service to our guests. Your role will encompass various responsibilities, including:

  • Engaging with guests to ensure their needs are met
  • Coordinating order expediting and hands-on service
  • Training and mentoring team members to uphold service standards
  • Contributing to a positive team atmosphere

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience in a hospitality setting
  • Valid Food Handler Card
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain focus under pressure
  • Ability to suggestively sell menu items and beverages
  • Calm demeanor when addressing guest concerns
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Thorough knowledge of front of house operations
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems

Job Functions:

  • Complete opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Record necessary information clearly and accurately
  • Seat guests promptly and courteously, accommodating special requests
  • Ensure smooth communication between front and back of house
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in guest areas
  • Guide and support team members to deliver optimal service
  • Document orders accurately when the point-of-sale system is unavailable
  • Update menus and assist with inventory management
