Clinical Instructor

We are seeking a part-time Clinical Instructor to join our RN program at the Fauquier campus. The successful candidate will have demonstrated clinical experience in mother/baby or medical/surgical nursing and excellent communication skills. The position may require clinical or laboratory instruction and may include day, evening, or weekend hours in an off-campus or on-campus lab and/or clinical site.

• Teach clinical or laboratory instruction to nursing students
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet program goals
• Assess student learning and provide feedback
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the nursing program

• Demonstrated clinical experience in mother/baby or medical/surgical nursing
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to be a team player
• Current unrestricted RN license in Virginia

• Master's degree in Nursing

The minimum hourly rate for this position is $39.72 per hour, however, actual starting rate is commensurate with education and/or experience. The position is part-time and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.
