Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and treatments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards.
  • Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care is consistent with established standards.
Requirements
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) ARRT preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in specialty area as required to meet all MRI competencies at the end of orientation period.
