Job Summary

The Breakfast/Saute Cook is a key member of our culinary team at Kompass Kulinary, responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our customers. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including breakfast items, sauteed vegetables, and other menu items, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other members of the culinary team to ensure that all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with the management of inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that all necessary ingredients are available.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a breakfast or saute station role.
  • Skills and Abilities: Basic knife skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a self-sufficient work ethic.
  • Physical Requirements: Able to carry up to 30lbs at times, able to stand for long periods of time in a wide range of temperatures, and able to access and navigate all areas of the facility.
