Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lien Coordinator to join our collections department in the Austin, TX area. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with attorneys' offices to ensure proper billing and monitoring of accounts receivable (A/R) collections.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing A/R reports for submission to attorneys' offices
  • Following up with attorneys' offices to ensure timely replies
  • Answering incoming calls related to account follow-up
  • Collaborating with other Liens & Legal team members to achieve collective goals
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Moderate motor abilities for operation of calculator, typewriter, and computer terminal
  • Basic mathematical proficiency, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and calculation of percentages
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of credit, collection, or financial counseling experience
  • Working experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and outside agencies
  • Ability to work in a team environment
