Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of oral health and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, including taking dental x-rays and preparing patients for exams.
- Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
- Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice, ensuring efficient and effective care.
- Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
- Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns, demonstrating your expertise in dental procedures.
- Perform quality impressions and bite registrations, ensuring accurate and precise results.
- Support patient charting for doctors, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Perform various office tasks as necessary, demonstrating your adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction, working together to achieve our shared goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including x-ray certification if required.
