Key Responsibilities of the Integration QA Specialist:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated testing scripts using open-source tools.
  • Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation for new interfaces within a sprint.
  • Ensure that test documentation is suitable for Change Control and that critical features will function in production.
  • Continuously improve testing efficiency by evaluating testing libraries, setting up test patients, and identifying automation opportunities.
  • Perform end-to-end data flow validation for various healthcare standards.
  • Troubleshoot, identify root causes of issues, and document them for resolution.

Requirements for the Integration QA Specialist:

  • 2 to 4 years of Healthcare Integrations experience, required.
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical audiences; customer service-focused.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare standards such as HL7 V2, HL7 CCDA, HL7 FHIR, and IHE ITI transactions.
  • Ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and issues.
  • Experience with Javascript, XML, Mirth Connect, HL7 Interfaces, and FHIR resources, required.
  • Healthcare IT experience, required.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or information systems, preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Target Converted Salary: $80,000-$95,000 ***depending on experience***
  • Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, 6 paid holidays.
