Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on APIs.

  • Collaborate with development teams to review requirements, design specifications, and implement effective testing strategies.
  • Create and maintain automated test suites for API testing using relevant tools and frameworks.
  • Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Analyze API performance metrics and participate in performance optimization efforts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA methodologies related to API testing.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on test results, defects, and overall quality metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Automation testing - APIs, Web applications, Windows applications - Selenium or similar frameworks.
  • Performance testing and Load testing - JMeter or similar tools.
  • Regression testing, smoke testing.
