Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management.
  • Triages telephone calls and assists customers at the pharmacy window.
  • Processes patient charges and credits as needed.
  • Maintains accurate records and reports.
  • Performs all operations of pharmacy automated systems.
  • Assists in the training and mentoring of new pharmacists, technicians, students, and residents.
Requirements
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
  • One year of experience as a pharmacy technician at NHRMC or four years of hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
