Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Associate to support laboratory operations, front office tasks, perform wellness checks, conduct program enrollment for TSA Precheck and related services, and maintain a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and process samples for analysis.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Document and record test results ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Conduct program enrollment for TSA Precheck and related services.
  • Process individuals in the enrollment system using their identification documents.
  • Greet individuals in person and handle telephone inquiries with excellent etiquette.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new laboratory procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Manage billing and inventory tasks.
  • Train new staff members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a phlebotomist is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Pleasant personality with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient in using laboratory software and equipment; knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Good overall telephone etiquette.
