Senior Audit Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Audit Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Chief Audit Executive in planning, supervising, and executing internal audit activities. This position requires a strong understanding of internal audit standards, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Internal Audit Director in performing and supervising audits, identifying critical control issues, and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate the department's risk assessment process by assisting audit staff in performing risk assessment workshops.
- Oversee Internal Audit's SOX process by conducting project management and reporting activities.
- Supervise the work of audit staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure assignments are adequately planned and executed.
- Provide critical review and edits to audit reports to ensure clarity and conciseness.
- Assess the adequacy of management's plans for addressing and correcting audit findings and issues.
- Provide monitoring, reporting, and review of the status of outstanding audit findings.
- Coordinate the Internal Audit Department's risk and control review process by assisting audit staff in performing control self-assessment workshops.
- Provide assistance and guidance to the Internal Audit co-source firm to ensure a timely and efficient completion of their audits.
- Assist the Director of Internal Audit and CAE on special projects and assignments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with postgraduate work preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in Internal Audit, with a strong background in risk management and regulatory compliance.
- CPA, CIA, CISA, or other relevant certifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present audit issues from the perspective of both the Audit Committee and senior management.
- Exceptional supervisory, analytical, interpersonal, time management, research, and communication skills.
