Location: Greenville, WI
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent
Compensation: $17.50 per hour
Work Schedule: Night Shift - 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM
The role involves assisting in the packaging process on a press machine. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the machine operator to manage the workflow.
- Removing rolls from the machine and placing them into boxes.
- Taping filled boxes and organizing them on pallets.
- Utilizing a pallet jack to transport completed pallets to designated areas.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, specifically handling boxes of rolls. Safety gear such as steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, and high visibility vests will be provided.
No prior machine operation experience is necessary.
This project is expected to last for an extended period, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position before the project's conclusion.
The operator will be responsible for:
- Operating basic finishing equipment according to established procedures.
- Following work order instructions and conducting quality assessments.
- Adhering to productivity standards while developing familiarity with tools and equipment under supervision.
- Learning and applying company policies and procedures in daily tasks.
- Building effective working relationships and addressing straightforward issues.
- Complying with all safety regulations and practices.
A high school diploma or equivalent vocational training is required, along with less than one year of relevant experience.
