Job Overview

As a Maintenance Technician I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to perform corrective and preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies
  • Complete routine preventive tasks such as cleaning, inspection, and minor service or overhaul
  • Replace identified parts or components that have failed
  • Adjust equipment to bring it into operational specifications
  • Maintain machinery lubrication requirements
  • Recommend process or procedure changes based on observed equipment behavior
  • Maintain current and accurate maintenance data to determine establish historical records and future maintenance requirements

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and manufacturing equipment
  • Must be familiar with normal shop equipment such as drill press, band saw, and portable power tools
  • Must be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to advance skill proficiencies through assigned training
  • 2-year technical degree desired
  • A minimum of 1 year of industrial manufacturing or comparable skills demonstration required
