Job Title: Database Administrator - Production Support

Innova Solutions is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in a Production Support role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our database systems, providing timely support to our clients, and collaborating with our development team to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and understand application functionality, focusing on vendor applications
  • Understand system flows and dependencies, and identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor and alert on file feeds, and maintain support documentation
  • Document incident engagement processes and handle Remedy incident and problem tickets
  • Run incident triage calls, cross-train teammates, and support other Card applications
  • Participate in on-call rotation, and maintain ITIL process knowledge
  • Develop and maintain expertise in vendor-hosted applications, file transmission knowledge, and intermediate Windows and Linux navigation skills
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, and maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Requirements:
  • Experience with vendor-hosted applications and keeping vendors accountable for incident resolutions
  • SQL query experience, and knowledge of database systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-centric approach
