Job Overview

At A.J. Boggs & Company, we are seeking a highly skilled CAREWare Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our public health team, you will play a critical role in optimizing data, workflows, and enhancing service delivery for individuals living with HIV.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about serving underprivileged populations and have a strong background in information technology or public health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, monitor, maintain, and fine-tune CAREWare databases to ensure high levels of data availability.
  • Analyze data and create reports for program management of RW Parts A, C, and D, including quality management measures in adherence with grant reporting requirements.
  • Maintain database integrity, identifying opportunities for system improvements, correcting data issues, and demonstrating thorough knowledge of system components and capabilities.
  • Optimize workflow, enhance service delivery, and ensure compliance with federal requirements, including ensuring a quality HRSA RSR process.
  • Collaborate with IT and program staff to ensure seamless integration with various data systems.
  • Provide technical support to CAREWare users and serve as the primary point of contact between software users and IT departments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in healthcare IT, Information Technology, Database Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HIV/AIDS care, treatment, and program management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in training and instructional design.
  • Technical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Our benefits package includes group medical, dental, life, HSA/FSA, and vision insurance, as well as a SIMPLE IRA with an immediate vesting of 3% company match.
