Geotechnical Construction Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Construction Engineer to join our construction engineering team in Columbus, OH. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing medium to large construction materials testing and geotechnical projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee construction materials testing and geotechnical projects to ensure high-quality results and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with clients, project teams, and leadership to deliver successful projects and uphold our commitment to excellence.
- Engage with clients to understand their unique project needs and provide exceptional service to ensure their satisfaction.
- Nurture and guide a team of skilled professionals and field-based personnel, fostering their growth and development.
- Cultivate a robust local client base and expand your professional network to drive revenue growth and align with our ambitious financial goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Construction Materials Testing, Special Inspections, and Geotechnical projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Strong working knowledge of applicable ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT standards and procedures, IBC Special Inspections, and geotechnical recommendations.
- Ability to work outside, maneuver equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
