Job Summary

Vista Packaging & Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our production department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track associate productivity and production rates to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Analyze open work order data and prioritize production runs based on requested completion dates.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of production data, including but not limited to production orders, work instructions, and shipping and receiving documents.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure that all safety regulations are followed and that a clean and safe work environment is maintained.
  • Administer company policies and rules, and ensure that all associates are aware of and comply with them.
  • Provide regular communication with the operations supervisor regarding issues and job status updates.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for most of your shift, 8 hours.
  • Ability to lift fifty pounds.

Working Conditions

This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
