Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paraprofessional to assist the classroom teacher in providing support to students with special needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to reinforce instructional materials, assist with classroom management, and provide individualized support to students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional support to students, including reinforcement of regular classroom curriculum and individualized instruction.
  • Assist the classroom teacher with classroom management, including supervision of students and maintenance of a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Help with administrative tasks, such as setting up equipment and preparing materials for lessons.
  • Supervise students in various settings, including the cafeteria, schoolyard, and during before and after school programs.
  • Attend to the physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs of students.
  • Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration.

Qualifications
  • Parapro Praxis test score of at least 460+ or 48 credits.
  • State/FBI Criminal History Clearance.
