Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products at all stages of the manufacturing process. This includes inspecting products using various tools and methods, coordinating with other team members and departments, and documenting quality data. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of parts and processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect products using gauges, calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to ship promised products on time.
• Document quality data and enter it into the Epicor system.
• Perform all essential functions and duties within quality requirements, utilizing five-second checks, checklists, and other quality control methods.
• Report defective materials or questionable quality conditions to the department SME and complete any required paperwork.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred or related quality experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Ability to interpret company paperwork, part numbers, labels, and packing lists.
• Use of production/operational software required.
• Ability to complete required training courses.
Work Environment:
The Quality Inspector will work in an air-conditioned shop environment, with the possibility of working at different workstations as production needs require. The ideal candidate will be able to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for 8-10 hours, and be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes).
