Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Associates Minnesota. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Comfort and Care
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease during their examination and treatment.
- Conduct thorough oral health screenings and assessments.
- Oral Health Education and Prevention
- Provide patients with personalized oral health education and instruction on effective hygiene methods.
- Offer guidance on maintaining good oral health and preventing dental problems.
- Treatment and Support
- Administer local anesthesia and perform root planning as needed.
- Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various dental conditions.
- Take X-rays and dental impressions as required.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
- Certifications and Licenses
- Minnesota licensure as a Dental Hygienist.
- Current CPR certification in American Heart Association, Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.
- Education and Experience
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
- High degree of skill with hand instrumentation.
- Local anesthesia and root planning experience.
- Certified to administer nitrous oxide.
- PR Certification.
