We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Gear Technician to join our team at AppleOne. As a key member of our aviation maintenance team, you will be responsible for servicing aircraft landing gear components through troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and parts replacement at the component/depot level using manuals and other data.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft landing gear components
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic testing to identify issues with landing gear components
- Replace parts as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation of aircraft landing gear
- Use aviation repair manuals and other data to guide maintenance and repair activities
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Knowledge of aviation repair manuals and procedures
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including 1st and 2nd shifts
