Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Flossophy Dental Group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for treating and educating patients on their oral health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all types of dental cleanings, including prophylactic, gingivitis, and periodontal cleanings.
  • Evaluate and update patient medical histories.
  • Record clinical findings to aid dentists with diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Examine the gingiva for symptoms of disease, sores, and other dental problems.
  • Take diagnostic digital X-rays and intra-oral photographs.
  • Sterilize, sharpen, and maintain dental instruments.
  • Education patients on oral hygiene and preventative dental treatment.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental hygienists.
  • Maintain patient dental hygiene regimens.

Requirements:

  • An associate's degree in hygiene from a recognized institution.
  • Current state hygiene license.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to give local anesthetics.
  • Ability to use an X-ray machine.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable with computer tasks.
  • Knowledge of oral hygiene and dental health.

  • Monday - Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm.
  • Wednesday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm.
