Job Title: Engagement Producer, But Why

Vermont Public is seeking an Engagement Producer to lead the team's approach to social media and audience interaction and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating dynamic and engaging social media content, with the ability to interact with both child and adult audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to engage with audiences and promote the show.
  • Collaborate with the production team to create engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Manage and maintain the show's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics.
  • Develop and implement a content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging content across all social media platforms.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the show and engage with audiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure the show's social media presence remains relevant and engaging.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of creating engaging social media content and growing followers.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective features and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
