Job Summary:

As an Outpatient RDN, you will play a vital role in coordinating and monitoring outpatient nutrition counseling services. Your responsibilities will include conducting nutrition assessments, developing personalized nutrition plans, and providing education to patients and their families. You will also serve as a liaison between patients and their healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication and care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and screenings to identify patients' nutritional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans, taking into account patients' medical history, dietary restrictions, and lifestyle.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, meal planning, and nutrition-related topics.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field (if eligibility for examination began on or after January 1, 2024).
  • Experience as a Clinical Dietitian (preferred).
  • Dietetic internship or its equivalent.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within 6 months of completing a residency program.
