Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Seafood Team Member to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key member of our seafood department, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers have access to the freshest variety of unique fish and prepared seafood items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers about our seafood products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized seafood department, including stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and ensuring a visually appealing display.
  • Process customer transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
