The Thrift Store Associate (16 hours per week) will be responsible for receiving and processing donations of clothing and furniture. This role involves unloading items from delivery vehicles and ensuring that all merchandise is sorted, organized, priced, tagged, and stored appropriately. The associate will also contribute to the overall maintenance of the thrift store and its inventory. A positive demeanor and strong customer service abilities are essential for success in this position.

Key Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in interacting with the public and fostering effective relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to uphold a professional demeanor and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Minimum of one year experience in retail or cash handling.
  • Physical capability to lift and move items weighing over 50 lbs. consistently throughout the workday.
  • Dependable attendance is a must.
