Key Responsibilities- Serve as Medical Director for SNFs and participate in administrative and quality initiatives
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day-to-day resident care
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services by rounding on patients residing in SNFs
- Diagnose and treat patients with acute illness and chronic diseases
- Supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physicians assistants
- Utilize electronic/online medical tools such as EHR systems and state/county medical systems
- Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
- Experience as a Medical Director or in a similar leadership role
- Strong clinical and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
