Lucet is seeking a highly skilled EAP Consultant to provide short-term, confidential support, assessment, and referral services to employees and their families through telephone and/or in-person interactions.

Job Summary

The EAP Consultant will address personal issues that may impact work performance, including mental health concerns, substance abuse, family problems, financial issues, and other stressors. This position involves offering immediate crisis intervention and support during critical incidents, with a 24/7 on-call requirement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely support and intervention in crisis situations and respond to critical incidents within the assigned region.
  • Offer telephonic and/or in-person confidential counseling, consultation, and support services to employees and their families on a variety of personal and work-related issues.
  • Conduct clinical reviews on high-risk cases and provide clinical follow-up and case management on urgent and emergent cases not assigned to Field Staff.
  • Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and HR on challenging workplace issues, including critical incidents and management referrals.
  • Assess for and provide appropriate clinical recommendations and referral resources for clients needing services beyond the EAP benefit or scope.
Requirements
  • Master's and/or Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the corresponding professional association(s) in a clinical mental health field.
  • Current state license or state certification to practice as a mental health practitioner in the state(s) where practice takes place.
  • 5+ years of clinical experience after receiving the graduate degree.
  • Demonstrated capability to complete accurate bio-psychosocial assessments, including substance abuse assessments.
  • Specialized experience and/or training in phone counseling.
  • Counselors will be knowledgeable about federal and state laws governing privacy, confidentiality, duty to warn, and child and elder abuse reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior EAP experience.
  • DOT Qualified SAP.
  • Crisis intervention work.
  • Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed indoors in a remote, home setting or typical office environment.
  • Local travel and transportation are required to surrounding areas and sites.
  • Frequent exposure to VDT screens, video calling, headphones, and computers.
Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this position ranges from $60,000 - $92,000 annually, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills, education/degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of Lucet's incentive plan based on both company performance and individual performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with competitive employer match, company-paid life and disability insurance, company-paid gym access, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, PTO (vacation, sick, and volunteering), and remote work.

This position is a federally contracted position with the United States Postal Service, which has specific requirements for all candidates, including the ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen prior to their date of hire, undergo a Public Trust background investigation, and receive a favorable adjudication, as well as US Citizenship for at least 5 years.
