Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our on-site projects for TVA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage large budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead joint project teams (JPTs) and apply professional principles, practices, and techniques to manage project schedules, costs, and performance risks.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Manage and control project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project team members, stakeholders, and sponsors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a technical field, or equivalent education, training, and/or related work experience.
  • Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) within one year of appointment or assuming the Senior PM position.
  • Demonstrated desire to excel in the professional field of study, as demonstrated by certification/licensure in the professional field of study (e.g., PE, CPA, CFP, etc.).
