Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to lead our team in analyzing construction projects, evaluating costs, and preparing accurate estimates and bids. As a Senior Estimator, you will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans, specifications, and other related documents to determine the scope of the project.
  • Conduct site visits to assess the condition of the site, identify potential challenges, and gather data for cost analysis.
  • Identify the necessary materials, equipment, and labor needed to complete the project.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and bids based on the gathered data and industry standards.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain pricing and availability of materials and services.
  • Collaborate with project managers to create project schedules, manage project costs, and ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to analyze the accuracy of the estimate, identify areas for improvement, and update the cost database for future use.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and other related documents.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
