Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones to maintain a safe and efficient workflow.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate the alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to work long hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
