About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Technician Admin to join our team at Deaconess. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with ancillary departments, including dietary, social work, security, housekeeping, activity therapy, and the CARE team, to provide comprehensive support.
  • Coordinate activities at the nurse's station, including answering phones, providing customer service, paging staff as needed, and completing filing tasks.
  • Participate in unit and hospital committees, as well as performance improvement projects, to contribute to a culture of excellence.
  • Assist the charge nurse/team leader as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • De-escalation training and Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider) certification within six months of hire.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of 4 semesters (12 credit hours) of college-level psychology classes or equivalent number of years direct work experience.
