MRI Technologist

Rhode Island Medical Imaging is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at our East Providence, RI clinical site. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic scans, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
- Position patients and handle patient films and files with care and attention to detail
- Interact effectively with patients, referring physicians, and staff to ensure seamless patient flow and throughput
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
- ARRT registration and MR certification
- IV experience required
- Ability to lift and position patients and supplies up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in high magnetic fields and withstand occasional RF exposure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
