Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a local contract job in Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified Ultrasound Technologist to perform general ultrasound imaging exams, calibrate and operate ultrasound equipment, and assist radiologists during invasive exams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic sonography and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general ultrasound imaging exams using proper technique and process correctly marked images
  • Calibrate and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Assist radiologists during invasive exams, providing support and expertise as needed
  • Perform equipment quality control, transporting patients, and room setup and cleanup
  • Available for on-call duties as required by the department
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic sonography
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • State license (if required)
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography certification
  • CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association certification
