Salary: $13.00 to $14.00 per hour

Project 2231, a family-operated Hospitality and Entertainment organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker for our warehouse operations.

The Maintenance Worker will be tasked with performing essential upkeep duties, including repairs and cleaning. This role requires applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems while ensuring that facilities remain tidy and functional.

Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a reliable individual with a strong attention to detail. Previous maintenance experience and solid technical knowledge are essential. Candidates must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and mopping of warehouse areas.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other professionals during renovation projects.
  • Identify maintenance needs such as electrical issues, plumbing concerns, and structural repairs, and report these to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Repair and maintain warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Perform tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing doors, and ensuring safety signage is properly displayed.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory within the warehouse.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment to promote the safety and well-being of all employees.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity for various maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical capability to climb ladders, bend, crawl, and access awkward spaces.
  • Dexterity to operate hand and electrical tools for repairs.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 4 pm, with occasional weekend work.
