We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Field Inspection Specialist to join our team at Middough. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate inspections of structural components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Evaluate Structural Components: Conduct on-site inspections of structural components, including beams, columns, and foundations, to identify defects, damage, or other issues that may impact the integrity of the structure.
  • Document Inspection Findings: Prepare detailed reports of inspection findings, including photographs, measurements, and other relevant data, to support recommendations for repairs or modifications.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that inspection findings are accurately reflected in design and construction plans.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
Requirements
  • 15+ Years of Experience: Possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in a heavy industry environment, with a strong background in structural inspection and evaluation.
  • Advanced Certification or Degree: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with advanced certification or degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Possess basic knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with measuring instruments, including tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and height gages.
  • Industry Certifications: Hold certifications from organizations such as AMPP, NACE, AWS, and API, or have experience with nondestructive testing.
