Overview

The Norman Regional Health System's Opioid Abatement Program is a grant-funded initiative that integrates with the health system's Centers of Excellence. This program supports best practice initiatives surrounding pain management and opioid abatement.

The Centers of Excellence are a team of dedicated professionals from various disciplines who operate across departments to provide leadership and direction to select service lines. We establish and promote best practices, engage in process and quality improvement, provide support and education, and optimize resource utilization while contributing positively to the organization's financial well-being.

We validate our excellence through Joint Commission Certifications and Accreditations from organizations such as the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Surgeons.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a leader in quality and promotes its integration into the program.
  • Administers a robust performance and process improvement program.
  • Administers the Center of Excellence program and leads the multidisciplinary team(s) in order to obtain and maintain accreditation(s) and/or certification(s).
  • Develops, manages, and utilizes data and quality metrics.
  • Takes responsibility for continued professional growth and development.
  • Collaborates in marketing and promoting the program through community outreach and education.
  • Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.

Qualifications

Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Education

Bachelor's in nursing or healthcare-related field required, Master's preferred.

Experience

Requires 3-5 years of experience in a related healthcare field. Must demonstrate understanding of principles of project management, quality, performance improvement, and evidence-based practice.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Licensed or registered in nursing or allied health profession.
