**Job Summary**


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within our facility by following routine cleaning procedures.


**Key Responsibilities**


Clean and disinfect patient rooms and non-patient areas of the hospital
Maintain a high level of customer service by promptly welcoming everyone in a friendly manner
Perform special isolation cleaning according to established procedures as required
Replenish supplies of soap, tissues, towels, disposable items and other items as needed
Report the need for repair of equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures to appropriate person


**Requirements**


Previous janitorial and cleaning experience preferred
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Ability to work with and accept varying demands of the patient, public and other employees
Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of the health care team
