Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to join our team at the Molly Pitcher Inn. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Seating: Greet all guests upon arrival, manage the flow of guests in the dining room, and ensure an excellent guest experience.
  • Phone and Reservation Management: Answer all incoming phone calls with sincere hospitality and professionalism, and manage reservations to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Service Delivery: Assist in maximizing revenues while ensuring high levels of service delivery, and maintain effective communication with the service team.
  • Guest Interaction: Demonstrate patience, empathy, and sincere hospitality at all times, and protect the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
  • Administrative Tasks: Utilize point of sale systems to efficiently transmit orders to the bar and kitchen, and accurately close checks to the appropriate payment type.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: 2 years of high-touch customer service experience in a food and beverage operation or comparable service experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to listen and communicate effectively.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a high-volume work environment, and be a dependable team player with a successful record of work attendance.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time, and lift, bend, and carry heavy objects.
