Job Overview

Sletten Companies is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for manufacturing parts and assemblies using MIG welding equipment, adhering to AISC and job-specific standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and fabricate metal components using sheet metal fabrication techniques.
  • Weld stainless steel and aluminum parts using MIG welding equipment.
  • Supply quality parts and assemblies to the welding team for completion.
  • Collaborate with the welding team to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Operate various equipment, including cranes, forklifts, mag drills, and power tools.
  • Review fabricated assemblies for accuracy against drawings and specifications.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as required by your manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication and welding.
  • Familiarity with jigs and fixtures, as well as hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 50lbs without assistance.
  • Pass a drug test and weld test.
