LabCorp is looking for a reliable and proactive individual to become part of our dedicated Specimen Processing team. The Clinical Laboratory Technician will play a vital role in managing clinical specimen processing, including sorting samples and entering data efficiently in a dynamic, high-volume setting, adhering to established protocols.
Work Schedule: Standard hours, Monday through Friday, early morning shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize laboratory specimens for testing and analysis.
- Unpack and distribute specimens to designated areas.
- Ensure accurate identification and labeling of specimens.
- Coordinate the packing and shipping of specimens to appropriate testing facilities.
- Achieve departmental productivity and performance targets.
- Manage the preparation and storage of surplus specimen samples.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information.
- Identify and resolve issues with problematic specimens.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience necessary; 1-2 years preferred.
- Experience in a medical or production environment is advantageous.
- Comfortable handling biological specimens.
- Strong ability to accurately identify specimens.
- Experience working collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent data entry and organizational capabilities.
- High attention to detail is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision test.
