Position Overview: The Meeting Production Specialist is a skilled professional with comprehensive experience in commercial audiovisual systems, capable of thriving with minimal oversight. This role demands a profound understanding of conference room AV technologies and various virtual collaboration platforms, along with a practical awareness of the challenges faced by clients in hybrid meeting settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate initiative by independently managing tasks and identifying areas requiring additional support.
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, providing innovative and practical solutions to client needs while adapting to present viable alternatives.
  • Possess expertise in virtual meeting technologies, including webinars, with advanced troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced government environment.
  • Have a thorough understanding of physical in-room conference systems, including troubleshooting AV racks, teleconference codecs, and related control systems.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and adherence to deadlines from pre-meeting through post-production phases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient understanding of AV conference room system operations and signal flow.
  • Prior experience in a government setting is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance.
  • Audio Visual Technician certification (AVT) must be achieved within 90 days of employment.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Certified Technical Specialist (CTS) certification is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Utilization of carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to transport items as necessary.
