Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive science curriculum for elementary students that aligns with state and national standards.
- Lesson Planning: Create and deliver engaging lesson plans that incorporate hands-on experiments, interactive activities, and real-world applications.
- Teaching Methods: Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a cooperative and diverse team of educators and administrators to carry out the mission of Westchester Day School.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
