Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team at Park National Bank. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a professional atmosphere in our branch.
Key Responsibilities- Serve Customers: Serve customers, prospective customers, and bank associates promptly and professionally, adhering to Park Promises and Serving More standards.
- Process Transactions: Complete transaction processing timely, accurately, and in accordance with bank procedures.
- Project Professional Reputation: Project the bank's professional reputation through knowledgeable, courteous interactions with customers and prompt resolution of requests, inquiries, or issues.
- Refer Customers: Refer loan and deposit customers or prospects to subject matter experts.
- Complete Training: Complete ongoing product knowledge, digital product knowledge, financial services, and sales-oriented training to sustain a broad base of product, service, and sales knowledge.
- Protect Bank Assets: Protect bank assets by adhering to all processes, policies, and standard operating procedures related to branch and cash security, negotiable instruments, information security, and Federal, State, or Local regulations impacting teller activity and branch operations.
- Communicate Recommendations: Communicate recommendations for improved work flow and service to customers.
- Maintain Compliance: Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies, and procedures and apply them to daily tasks.
- Deliver High-Level Service: Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Experience: 0-2 years prior cash handling, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary standing position a minimum of 75% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant verbal communication with customers and coworkers to discuss and observe account information in order to exchange accurate information.
Operating hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm, and Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm. The expected number of Saturday shifts per month is 2-3.
