Document Control Specialist

Job Summary:
Parsons is seeking a Senior Document Control Specialist to support our portfolio of projects. This role will be responsible for applying appropriate and proper electronic document archiving procedures, developing and maintaining project files, and performing quality control checks to ensure digital files are complete, legible, and archived consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support capital and non-capital rail-transit projects by applying electronic document archiving procedures
- Develop and maintain project files, following file naming conventions
- Perform quality control checks to ensure digital files are complete, legible, and archived consistently
- Scan hard copy historical documents into a digital format and save in the appropriate digital folder
- Take the lead on maintaining records of as-built drawings, design drawings, and contract close-out documents
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and IT department to support project close-out process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 12+ years of related work experience with at least 8+ years in document controls
- Experience working with documents, hard copy and digital, and file management
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to clearly and professionally communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with secure contract documents, reports, and plans for infrastructure
- Experience working with SharePoint

Salary Range: $40.05 - $70.10
