We are currently seeking a Travel Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This role involves a commitment to excellence in the reprocessing and sterilization of medical instruments and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Decontamination and Processing: Perform routine tasks related to the cleaning, processing, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor sterilization and cleaning equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards, including AAMI, AORN, and Joint Commission.
  • Inspection and Assembly: Collect, sort, and inspect instruments and supplies, ensuring they are properly assembled and labeled for sterilization.
  • Aseptic Techniques: Adhere to aseptic techniques in handling and storing sterile supplies, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to deliver processed supplies and equipment as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required; completion of Central Sterile coursework is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations are essential.
  • Certification: Certification in Sterile Processing is preferred.
